๐ฑ Why Did Prantoz Jubo Songho Start This?
In 2018, we witnessed excessive water hyacinth growth in Khulna's water bodies โ filling rivers, destroying fish habitats, and increasing dengue risk.
We turned this problem into an opportunity. Prantoz Jubo Songho youth researched and discovered that water hyacinth could create remarkable products โ baskets, mats, bags, and organic fertilizer.
Our goal: solve two problems โ prevent pollution and create employment for rural women and youth. Today, hundreds of families have benefited from this initiative.
